Overview

In summer 2021 I was an interaction design intern at Tacpoint, a digital creative agency based in San Francisco Bay Area. During my time here, I worked closely with the creative director and other designers on a variety of projects, ranging from contributing to design systems to building experiences to make B2B sales easier.
Although I am unable to show the work publicly (please contact me to see a case study/learn more about my experience!) Here are some things I learned:

Don't take feedback personally - design critiques are a critique of your work, not who you are or your worth as a designer.
It's okay to fail! Failing a lot and utilizing the feedback from failed designs made me a stronger designer.
Don't be afraid to ask for help early and often - This has always been a struggle for me, but getting into the habit of asking for help, especially when you don't know what exactly the problem space is or what you don't know, was difficult for me. I combatted this by being cognizant of when I was in a creative block, and taking the initiative to ask for help then.
